Jul. 29th, 2006

Last night's work was hell. Tonight's should be unpleasant but marginally better. If I had my way it would be done tonight, but that's not within my control. I am hoping Sunday will be it though, as I'd really like Monday to myself.

Monday I will probably also go to the tailor, with the list of measurements I need both for my Regency stuff and for eShakti (getting a suit, and my underthings for the sari an ex-coworker bought me).

I seem to be having weird psychic moments with my friends-list lately. Mostly people I've met, and could even say I know well although I don't see them often. I don't know what to say other than it's appreciated.

While I was pretty hungover yesterday, it provided some valuable data, in that, yes, I can drink again without getting sick. At least wine. Although vodka and the like is supposed to be safe for me, I think my body is still having memory reactions of drinking such stuff and eating lots of bread with it to sover up and getting sick. Yesterday was slow and a bit, eh, but entirely managable, which was a pleasant surprise.

I read a Remus/Sirius/Severus fic last night that was hot enough to peel paint off walls. It was linked on [livejournal.com profile] hogwarts_today, but I can't be bothered to go dig it up because I have to be at the Germans shortly.

I'm hitting one of those accumulation of half-fnished fics points. Which means I need to efit and post more Ghosts and buckle down on some of these pieces of things, some of which are also Descensus stuff.

Slept a lot last night. Am crazy tired though. Shouldn't be surprised I guess.
- laundry
- Jurlique
- a tolerable white shirt for Tuesday (although on a broader note on this subject, my shirt problems may be solved. I forget _everything_ is on the Internet including mytailor.com, garytailor.com and a bazillion other sites just like 'em.)
- spending my B&N and Pier 1 gift cards, although I don't know what I want at either.

Unfortuantely, every one of those things is in a different part of the city and I have to work tomorrow at 8pm, although probably only for a couple of hours.

I'd also really like to go sit in a church for a few hours and soak up the atmosphere that always makes me want to grouse about the lact of appropriate, significant ceremonial venues for my own pursuits in that vein, but doing that on a Sunday is just stupid.
