Immediately, off to work. Not for that long, but I'm in no mood.
Then home, largely to write lots of crap for Associated Content so I can build up my extra fundage again and also be prepared for the possibility of more money drama with the desk job -- although we've gotten lost of new contracts, it just a matter of them paying on time.
That's really it, but with the clouds and the rain and the cold, it oddly seems like a lot.
At least I get to listen to Snapecast at work.
Maybe I'll go by St. Pat's too -- after a flury of it for a bit, I haven't been since, and it might be nice to take in the environment without being in emotional extremis amongst tourists.
My skin is itching in a world domination way, but there's nothing to do on a dreary long-weekend except a lot of mundane ducks in a row crap.
Been working on some fabulous Descensus stuff that, again, you all won't see for ages as it's waaaay ahead in the arc.
And while having no desire to be wanky something small and either accidental or petty in fandom is seriously rubbing my fur the wrong way.
Meanwhile, for years everyone I know has at one point or another said, "You should really do stand up." After having to watch some decent and some AWFUL stand-up on a set for hours yesterday, I feel more inclined. I even came up with two bits last night that flow fantastically into each other. One of the things about standup though that's REALLY scary - it's more than anything else, pretty unavoidably about people you know. Also, as a woman, you walk on stage and the room internally goes, "oh, she's gonna talk about men sucking. *yawn*."
