What I should be doing: writing my yuletide story.

What I am doing: Writing really smutty, plot-free fic for _riverside and googling fencing shoes.

What I really, really should be doing: sleeping

What I'm actually probably doing: Going to hell, in a small, wicker handbasket. Oh yes oh yes.

Yultide story finished and uploaded. It's possibly even coherent. And weirdly reveals current preoccupations rather in spite of itself.

Despite the fact I have to write a full, proper review of Dreamgirls later tonight, I really only have one thing to say that matters:

Eddie Murphy -- OMG who the hell knew? His performance is so amazing and electric and just wow. I had no idea. I'm not even sure I wanted to have an idea.
