whew

I finished by yuletide pinch hit. I really hope I honored it as much as I wanted to. I now have to write two articles and work on some Descensus stuff before I can go to bed. But hey, I get to sleep in tomorrow!

In other news: the upstairs neighbors are doing flamenco.

Also: Amanda just read Kushiel's Dart too and kept going "man, that's so rach" about Joscelin too. Hahahhaha.

Now: washing my hair.

One more article to finish. I'm just deadly bored by it, but it shouldn't take mroe more than thirty minutes. Then I can go buy wrapping paper and deal with all that, since I am not going over to my parents house until 6:30.

My father, of course, realized that one of the charges I was blamed for was him. But I don't get an apology. Because apparently a mere explanation of his actions is always enough. Instead I got an ingredient list of everything my mom iscooking to see if it's safe for me to eat (I've explained to the,m, very clearly, in writing, what I can and cannot consume, but they aren't interested in doing the work) and a speech about how we much act like a loving family. Which means tonight will probably be low drama, but that I'm still irritated with them in a way I haven't been in years.

Among other holiday gifts from my parents, I got this amazing Ellie Tahari shirt that just screams "I liberated this from Alec's closet!" Part of that is the cut and the black and silver, but part of that is also that it doesn't quite fit. But I sort of like that, and then, this is why I have a tailor.

Also, ROME box set.

I'm so pleased.
