It may not be important to you, but it's important to me:

- the new HP book, plans with kalichan and others for the release, etc.
- the realization I will be in Detroit when the Order of the Phoenix movie comes out and the absurdly deep inner conflict I am having about this.
- that the Borders-sponsored group for HP & the Deathly Hollows discussion on Gather is at URL borderssnape.gather.com
- how pleased I am that I do tonight issue of snapenews with the big announcement
- that someone rated my first sci-fi column on Gather a 1 just to be spiteful.

A business, even a business whose product involves a "community," is not only not a democracy, but has absolutely no obligation to be whatsoever.

I am so unbelieveably sick of saying this. I've been beating the same drum since the days of the BBS-that-must-not-be-named, and yet not one can get it. I am now a source of evil on Gather, because I get paid to write.
