celiac disease!

Decent article. Doesn't cover how barbaric diagnosis is (NOT simple; tests are unreliable/unpleasant, required consuming gluten once you've verified it makes you ill for weeks to confirm diagnosis, etc.) and understates the severity of living with the disease especially if one is not diagnosed until adulthood (severe dental problems, neuralgia and mood disorders) as well as long-term health risks from (such as elevates risks of cancer and epilepsy).
But yeah. This is my thing. And on some levels it is no big deal, but on other levels, I really, really hate that it gets reduced to "shopping is hard and expensive." Also, there are lots of good replacement products -- more all the time -- but they are mostly produced abroad or by small domestic companies, and they can be hard to find or even more costly than what is described in the article.
Celiac disease is a lot more than annoying.
Also, don't read the comments, which are super, super offensive. Because I don't know about you, but being told my auto-immune disease isn't real and is just a first world fake problem makes me want to punch someone.
