- My work situation is still screwed up and overwhelming, although it is starting to untangle.

- I had a thing rejected from a thing. I'm tangled up only slightly in how much I am supposed to care and how little time I have to actually care. People keep telling me "no work is wasted."

- Patty is home, but other than a few hours we've managed to do excellent things it's been all work for me all the time. It's absurd and I missed multiple friends in town this weekend.

- D&J is going super good.

- Next Klaine story will be finished and posted on Wednesday is the plan.

- You may get the one after that SUPER FAST too, since I'll be in Boston on Wednesday and Thursday and Boston is what makes that universe go.

- I agreed to go to horror movies with Patty if she agreed to watch some Glee with me. This seems equitable.

- Things that are funny: Patty keeps reminding me that I am short.

No work is wasted, but rejection still stings like crazy. You can always resubmit to a different thing -- that often makes it better for me. Well, that and spending a few days talking about sour grapes and how they don't deserve my work anyhow.
