Consolation. Someday there will be New Yorks scattered throughout the galaxy, while Jersey will be that place in the Channel next to Albany and Guernsey.

I'm so glad the place I grew up in has finally gotten this one right. I miss home sometimes, but I'm in the correct place for me, and I have a feeling CA will be the state to bring marriage equity to the supreme court as a consequence of the horrible prop8.
