Someone wished me a Happy Mother's Day this year and (a) my mother is dead, (b) my grandfather was laying in hospice and died the next evening so I was certainly in no mood to celebrate, (c) I do struggle with infertility and (d) am nearing 40 and still ambivalent about having children which then leads to panic over whether or not I should pull the trigger already.

All of this is to say that I feel your pain. I'm happy to see you blogging again (or at least for the feed here to be working) as I've missed your insight.
