(no subject)

Kerry just gave the speech of his fucking life.

I am blown away. Didn't know he had it in him. Ballsy as hell. Hot damn this just got interesting.

one of my favorite lines was "my wife speaks her mind and the truth, and I love her for that, too", or words to that effect.

i thought that speech rocked the house, too!

it made me *WANT* to vote for him - as opposed to voting for him just to get duh-bya out of office.

cool.

My roommate and I looked at each other and agreed this is the speech that made you want to call the campaign office, ask where they need volunteers (since NY is loced up Democratic) and get in the car and drive.

yah - i totally agree with that. i had that feeling that i got the first time i heard clinton speak in 92... it was kind of cool to revisit that (as i am SO MUCH MORE CYNICAL ABOUT POLITICS now than i was when i was eighteen.)

i will prolly volunteer somewhere out here - cali is far from a locked dem state. only sf is really, truly liberal. otherwise how the hell did ah-nold get elected?

(which makes sense - sacremento, la and san diego are all VERY conservative, industry focused cities. you know - show BUSINESS and stuff like that.)

:)

No kidding! I was stunned. That man nailed that speech. Also, he's a lot more charismatic speaking than not. If I was "not Bush" before, I'm much more "for Kerry" and "John Squared" now.

Checking in on time delay from the West Coast. Whoa. There may be hope for pruning the Shub after all.
