I am hearing such awful things about the Oliver Stone Alexander movie, I'm starting to think I'm not even going to go see it -- and while I've always been dubious about it, dude... it's Alexander, which is like my favourite thing ever (yes, when my classmates were having crushes on Duran Duran I was swooning over my history text books -- ah, fourth grade, I remember you well).

But... but... argh! The more I hear, I am like what the fuck.

*growl*

Eh. He's hot, and I realize this whenever I see him in something, but extremely out of sight out of mind and so totally not on the list of people I particularly fantasize about.

But yes, if it would have done anything to make this movie look less stupid, you bet.

When we lived in an apartment in Hollywood, there was one particulary creative young lady (OF COURSE she was an actress) who lived in unit #112. Like so many, this apartment had a front porch area with a security door. You would buzz the resident you wanted to visit and they would let you in. One day I came home and there was a note from her that was taped to the security panel, which was addressed to the world in general..

"HEY! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT disturb the resident of #112 under any circumstances. I've had a really hard fucking day.. I was extrememly late for work, I blew an audition and my boyfriend just broke up with me, so do NOT ring apt. #112 unless Brad Pitt himself is sitting on the front step asking for a pedicure. And even then I would have to think about it."

I thought it was pretty funny :-)
