rmHad my first yoga class tonight. In some sort of reading incomprehnsion on my part or scheduling change or something it was not the class I anticipated and as such my first yoga class since I was, oh, I don't know, five was Astanga. Which is to say -- I could hardly do any of it, it made me angry with myself and embarassed and pitying the teacher who had to help me so much -- _and_ I can't imagine I'll be able to move tomorrow.
It was also terrifying. It took an immense amount of will not to bolt out of there at various points, and I even did the shoulder stand (this is a very big deal for me). One scary thing every day, oh yeah.
Also, was remarkably mentally interesting. Mostly not a surprise where the brain travelled off to, but hey, cool enough.
Oooooooooooooooooh. I hurt the most.
