(no subject)

I get to pick up my headshots from the retoucher on Tuesday, and then bring them to Reproductions to file the smallest order I possibly can because I just don't have the money right now, but also need to do this, RIGHT NOW. I'm nervous again, and quasi appalled at how much retouching I needed, when I hadn't really thought I did ("see this, where it looks like your hair wants to part, will fix that up. Also, see, you need another eyelash -- right here"). So this is all good and utterly scary.

I still hurt the most from yoga.

Have a meeting in a few hours. Should eat breafast. Watched Bob Roberts last night -- I had forgotten what insane evil genius it was. Seriously need to own that movie.

Prior -- went to see Lars von Trier's Medea with Kat. Smart, really cool in places, utterly utterly not my thing. I just can't get excited about von Trier's stuff -- in fact, I'd loathe it, except I really respect him. I just... don't have the receptors for it or something.

And kudos to Tim Robbins, for refusing to release a soundtrack.

I freaking love that movie. I watched it about a month ago and had forgotten how many seriously cool people were in it. I'd forgotten Alan Rickman was in it, for crying out loud...

It's such a nasty swat of a film, isn't it? Still trenchant.

I know exactly what you mean. I saw The Kingdom and while it had interesting bits and was clearly well done, it was impressively not my sort of thing, so I've never bothered to see anything else he has done.
