random crappy griping

I love the Netflix, but I _hate_ when the top thing in my queue says avilable NOW, and then it's not and I get something else. Granted, I've lots of MI-5 on the way, and that's excellent... but... waaaah!

Oh and hey, _all_ the trains are fucked up, and it took me an hour and a half to get to work today, on the bus.

Laaaaaaaaa.

*raises hand* An hour longer than usual here. :(

There's still no downtown service on the Upper West Side. Many restaurants are closing, citing health concerns since their basements have flooded. I'm not eating out this evening, or ordering lunch. :(

But when did this happen. I was up past three and it wasn't raining then, and the rain had stopped by 9am this morning -- what the hell?

I was up at 5:30 and it was pouring in Queens. It rained very heavily through 8:30am, but by the time I hit the city, the rain had calmed down.

I should have brought flippers to work this morning. :)

Is there a website with actual up to date train information?

www.mta.info was pretty good today, surprisingly. Click on the flashing service advisory icon on the main page.
