dumb thing

I have to put my occupation on the passport form.

I will hate myself if I don't put actor, but I'm not sure if I should.

ETA: Okay, this is dumb. I make very little of my income acting right now. I'll put marketing consultant or wwhatever the hell, and just get the passport ammended when I'm a fabulous international star.

I just always put "analyst" for everything, because it sounds sneaky and professional.

( In my own defense, I was watching the Monty Python O.W. Skit on the projector earlier the night I wrote that reply. I'm not a looney. Really. )

Too bad we've only got him quipping on the other side of customs.

There is only one thing worse than not knowing what to put down as your occupation on a passport, and that is to have nothing to put down.

I don't recall my passport DISPLAYING my occupation. I think it's just for the application.

I think a lot of it ultimately depends on who you encounter at immigration/customs, and whether or not they decide to have an issue.
