Well, the Regency dress color scheme is entirely different than what I had initially intended, but I saw fabric that was just so right, I couldn't help myself.

The bodice will be out of a butter-colored brocade that has a slightly lighter crosshatched pattern in it, which is periodically interuppted with something similar to a fleur de lis. This fabric will also be used for the short sleeves, and a split overskirt. The under skirt will be of a bright, white floral brocade. With any luck, it will all be, perhaps unlike myself, fucking charming.

Well it's got to be done by mid-october, so perhaps soon. I may even start on it tomorrow.

My god, kill me now before I ever decide that my first attempt at something should be huge. That said, my whole body aches and I'm halfway done with the sewing. >:O
