rm | Sewing and other updates

Massive sinus headache and a sewing error I had to spend a lot of time undoing and redoing meant the bodice did not get finished last night, although the lining is done, and the outside is mostly done. I should be able to do it in the three hours I can carve out for myself between regular work and debate coverage today. Knowing my office, I suspect people will be curious about it in an unpleasant way. I did get a paycheck yesterday. Will get another one or two this week, and the remainder (another one or two) by the end of next week, or so they say at which point I can pic up my headshot orders, pay my cable bill and not worry quite so much about NIDA or my rent. I still have the sinus headache. It woke me up in the night.

In thinking about the Assembly, it occured to me that the Sauteuse will be an odd thing, as it's been a long long time since I've been in the position for strangers or near strangers to ask me to dance. That will hopefully be charming, but could easily be like junior high. I suppose that's true of most things.

I didn't update on the student film I did the other day. I was the lead (and only) character in it and it was nice to have a director who actually had time for her actors. There was a lot of language barrier stuff, and the absurdity of working on a green screen _outside_, but I think she got what she wanted, so that's all good. I also got paid. I didn't know I was going to get paid. Not much, but still, that was nice.

Eurgh. I feel just awful.
