Wow, I don't think I've ever felt so bad for an SNL guest host. I mean, cringeworthy unfunny tonight. At least Jude Law got the Peter O'Toole moment.

What happened to the good writers on that show? It reeks more than ever (and the people playing Kerry and Bush are really bad).

[livejournal.com profile] darkrosetiger and I turned the sound down over and over again. How can you waste a stage actor like that on a show where stage actors are gold? *remembers Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian's SNL spots* And no, he's not known for being funny, but he makes an excellent straight man and he's done a lot of stuff that would be easy to parody.

Also Modest Mouse are awful.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. Poor Liam.. a regular fish out of water there. So who would Rachel say was the BEST guest host of last season and this? I thought the Donald Trump show was unbelievably funny, much to my surprise.

Didn't see that one, and honestly, don't see the program regularly enough to say. One of my favourite bits of all time though is Elian, The Musical! but I suppose that's predictable.

Also, am never, ever Rachel. Ever. I was like "who the hell is Rachel?" It looks like Rachel with a diminutive, know, but it's actually Ra-shell-lean, and as such, Rachel-free.

Sorry, Racheline.. I wasn't paying close enough attention while typing (I knew your name). My wife is Dorian, but God help the person who calls her Doreen! So I understand.

I don't catch every ep of SNL either, but try to if the guest host interests me enough.
