(no subject)

Long-time readers will perhaps recall that once or twice I've mentioned that I've been looking for a girl named Marilynn who was a younger friend when I was in DC and who I met through her mother through charity work I did at the end of high school/beginning of college. We lost touch when I moved back to NYC, and I was too insane and ungraceful to return her phone calls.

I got an email from her today, ten years later.

She's in Australia.

How life circles.

If this sort of thing weren't de rigeur for my existence, I'd be totally freaked out.

Yeah, it's generally de rigeur for magicians doing their Will. :) I dig you.

unfuckingbelievable. I love it when stuff like this happens in life, it makes me believe in magic.

Yeah. Yeah! I've told you you always reminded me of her, yes?

[identity profile] theotoky.livejournal.com 2005-06-23 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
yes, i definitely do. you spoke of her quite a bit back when. will you write back?

[identity profile] rm.livejournal.com 2005-06-23 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
I already did. rather incoherently. Mentioned I was glad to hear from her, that I was lame when I moved back to NYC, that I had been in Australia in January and that I wanted to hear stuff.
