Am seriously thinking about nabbing a ticket to the Rufus Wainwright thing at Celebrate Brooklyn, which is so absurd, because anyone who knows me knows I hate going to live music in NYC almost more than anything.

Rufus is excellent live. Actually, hearing him live was how I got into him. He opened for Tori Amos and was amazing and much better than the headliner (although, to be fair, I heard Tori was sick). since then I've seen him another three times.
