They just want an easy way to screen out emails. Probably either the "non-supportive" ones are totally filtered out and never seen by anyone at all, or the IP address of who sent them is carefully logged for future reference (and possibly spying purposes).

Yes, I'm *that* paranoid. I almost sent him one from Lucius Malfoy, but then I decided I didn't want to wind up in their database somewhere.

Hardly surprising, his staff is likely tired of reading all the emails about how Bush is the enemy of all freedom. I'm certain that anyone who clicks that they disagree with his policy has their email automatically deleted before it can be read.
