I was wondering if you'd think it was cool or horrific. It was bright blue (they wanted to put me in a green and white one, but the choli (sp?) was the wrong size. Everyone else in them kept bitching about it, but I thought it was sort of comfortable and amusing.
Granted, I also had to stop somone from doing a crappy fake Indian accent and explain to someone else the differnece between Ganesh (there was a large one as a central set thing) and the Ghagavad Gita
Aren't they the nicest people on the whole damned planet? I couldn't believe a whole film crew could be run so well and also have a complete lack of asshole.
heh, maybe someone will be able to get screeshots of the sari. ;)
I have one that someone from the museum purchased for me while she was in India, but it needs to be cut, a choli (I believe) made from the cut fabric, and a matching petticoat/skirt found somewhere (or made, since I'm suddenly surrounded by costumers..).
I've not worn one (yet) but I find them so beautiful, I'm very eager to finally have mine in a wearable state.
