I've also just read something on CNN about the pet situation and I just don't think I can read anymore, about anything ever. And I have a job where I have to read newspapers all day, every day, and I just can't. Anyone who knows me knows I've never reached this moment about anything before ever.

Here's how I see the big picture here. Obviously, there's a lot of negativity under the surface... people in authority with massive morality problems. When things are easy, these issues don't come up for them. When terrible tragedies occur, it brings out the best and the worst in people, and shows people's true colors, so to speak.

What's happening here is that we are confronting all the bad parts of reality, in regard to our trusted authority figures, with far more openness and honesty than we have so far. The more you're seeing, the more everyone else is seeing as well. The more people see these things, the more the underlying negativity is revealed. Hence, people are waking up to the truth about all the problems in the world, to greater and greater degree.

Our country listens to the opinions of people very much so, both at the voting booth and when you see things like Bush giving speeches in reaction to Cindy Sheehan. As people wake up to the truth more and more, it will have a greater effect on the authority figures and how much they think they can continue to get away with.

Keep getting the word out. Whenever you read something that really hurts, turn that around by sharing it with other people. That way, your reading about these terrible things becomes a great positive, instead of a negative. Remember, you ARE helping people understand, little by little. And you ARE making a positive difference by doing so.
