ugh

There are still Breafast on Pluto tickets available, but because it's the centerpiece they're $30 each, so I think I must forgo it. Now I'm debating getting tickets to the evening showing of Manderlay, apparently because I need to be actively engaged in my hatred of Lars von Trier.

The girl is sick, but still fabulous anyway.

My legs hurt from too much dance class yesterday and I want a nap.

Breakfast on Pluto will be getting a regular release pretty soon after its festival run -- it's already got distribution.

Oh good. Because there's other stuff I've seen at the NYFF that didn't get released until years later.

November 18 is the date given for the limited release. And if you haven't seen them, the stills are up at http://www.sonyclassics.com/breakfastonpluto/ and they are lovely.

I just read the book and the decision to rename the main character in the film is going to drive me crazy, but I'm still really excited.
