(no subject)

Time Warner Cable is unspeakably evil and double charged my bank card (and shut off my service) -- but they claim the extra charges will be reversed today (and the service was already restored).

I should be getting paid today.

I am waiting on three outstanding acting checks though.

And I'm doing background on some commercial in NJ tomorrow.

Hi There!

Rich Lowry, the editor of National Review, told the young conservatives' gathering last month: "You have to check out 'March of the Penguins.' It is an amazing movie. And I have to say, penguins are the really ideal example of monogamy. These things - the dedication of these birds is just amazing."

I'm sure if you had pointed out any number of non-monogamous species to him, however, he'd probably respond with something along the lines of: "So you're saying that Human Beings are no better than a bunch of filthy animals?"

And also . . .they're only monogomous once a MATING SEASON.

Somehow I doubt "March of the Salamanders" or some other not-cute species would draw such comparisons. /cynical
