I cannot even begin describe the nerdly brilliance of the birthday gifts from Kali. I about expired on the spot -- the spot being the delightful Bourgoise Pig on 7th Street. There was a lot of fondue, and not, I might add later, enough sleep.

In a lovely fluke, my copy of Scanty Particulars also arrived yesterday, and I've been devouring that with what little time I have.

Thank you all of your birthday wishes, all of which I hope to catch up with individually in the next day or so.

Today is work, and a dorky Sheseido focus group, which I can only hope is not a logistical cluster fuck, as I am in no mood. Also, sewing tonight.
