And I smelled it at Barnard this morning, too, now that I think about it -- 116th Street and Broadway. To me it smells like those sweet italian sausages?

I'm so creeped out. What the hell, I seriously thought I was losing my mind. No less creeped out now that I know it is a GIANT SAUSAGE CONSPIRACY, but at least I'm not alone.

I posted this in newyorkers too, but I just called 311 about it, and they connected me to 911, who connected me to the fire department, who said they've been getting calls all night about this, and that it's all over the city, but they don't know what's causing it.

Sometimes there are scents added to natural gas in order to detect leaks, as it has no natural smell. Maybe that ?
