Hey, if you ever want to do something really stupid and painful, I can't recommend enough dropping metallic green sealing wax on your hand from about an inch away. FUCK that hurt, and, in fact, is continuing to, ferociously. Blistery metallic fun. It's so totally going to scar too.

Totally aside , I tried to buy sealing wax here. They looked at me like my head was on fire and I came from another planet. After a few minutes they came back and assured me that there was no such thing. The art store counter clerks all agreed that I should go to the home depot next door and ask there.

It was at this point I raised my eyes skyward to ask ' why me ' when it struck me that they were thinking 'ceiling wax'. This explained their bemused faces. When I explained what it was I was after, how one used it and what it was for they told me they had never heard of such a thing. Ever.
