New BPAL's came last night

Stardust is brilliant. It smells exactly like life as a party girl -- champagne and red bull (which I think smells like sweet tarts anyway). It's really perfect, and I may have to get a second bottle, since it's an LE.

Lenore is lovely. Almost masculine in the bottle, and may be more so (I hope so) on me. It smells more nearly to what I thought Beatrice was going to smell like (which, btw, I think smells like whatever Snape should smell like mixed with a vat of cherry cough syrup -- absurd and nearly interesting, but I don't wear it much).

Samhain and Devil's Night also both arrived and are both strongly, strongly not for me, and so will be sold or swapped.

In the frimp department, Tisiphone was boring and White Rabbit really revolted me, and I've not tried the others yet. But truly, Stardust is exactly this time of year, four or five years ago. i really like it, but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.

I always think the autumn LEs sound wonderful, but I've not had good luck with them. Harvest Moon didn't work for me, Samhain didn't last year, and so on.

This year, I had my first ever "turns to baby powder" experience when I tried Devil's Night so I swapped it to a friend that it works on.

It's so cool when one works. Stardust intrigues me, but I don't think I ordered it. Will have to check.

See I got spoiled, as Mabon is the greatest thing ever on me, which then made me assume that other things that seemed to be in that range would work, but oh they do not.

I love Mabon, it works well on me too.

For a long time I kept ordering Lunacy oils, but so many of them didn't work that I've mostly given up. Must be something with the actual lunar oils. But Red Moon is one of the exceptions-- I love it. So both my bottle of Red Moon and my bottle of Mabon are treasured and I use 'em sparingly.

I'm so jealous of your perfume. I'd love to wear beautiful scents, but my husband HATES perfume, and our wine lifestyle pretty much prohibits it. The only thing he tolerates is my Tipton Charles Basil Nectarine, although when I absolutely MUST smell like New Orleans, I wear Hove Tea Olive.

Stardust sounds right up my alley.
