HDM question of the day

Or more, thing I am thinking about re a fanfic:

Was the Marisa/Asriel thing love at first sight as we're told? Or was she thinking, "this man is hot, and is known for his temper, I bet if I sleep with him I could get him to kill my husband"? Because a widow in her world probably has more power than a single woman and more freedom than a married one.

In other news: Mystery cat continues to howl at midnight.

Hmm. I always thought of their relationship as sort of like that line from The Virgin Suicides:

"The word 'hurricane' was a name given to the nature's strongest storm. A hurricane occurs when high pressure and low pressure masses of air come in contact with one another. There's often a significant difference in temperature between the two masses. One mass is warm, while the other is cold. The warmer air rises and the cooler air falls. Likewise, the low pressure area slides down the sides of the high pressure area. They swirl in and around one another, creating the beginning of the storm."

Oh I think the chemistry is very real, but she seems to be a woman of plans that backfire completely, and I'm wondering if she had a neat little idea that got totally out of hand.

My kitty yowls sometimes...

I think it's because he misses his mom.
I call his name and he stops.

was that intended to be "widow"? Because otherwise these books are even more weird than I knew.
