The Patriot is such a bad movie. And yet I watch it every single time it's on. And, I think, invariably post about it and how fine Jason Isaacs looks in that damn uniform.
I live about 1 hour from Historic Brattonsville, SC - which is where a lot of the on location work was done for that film. The film really fixed up the Historic park they shot in - it's fun to walk through the houses and see different rooms that they used and you can recognize in the film. The kitchen and the cellar that the kids escaped through is down there and it's just so neat to see.. just a bit of Patriot trivia.. a lot of people I know were extras and grips in the film (some of them credited) and have a lot of fun filming stories to tell.. SC is very Patriot crazy.. even 4 years later!! -Mystrys
