I have lots of auditions coming up, which is all to the good. Some of them are quite funny, including the one for the NYC zoos acting troupe -- really it's part of the parks department or something and they do shows at the zoos around town. But what I really really want to get in to audition for is a production called FALLEN that's an all-girl Lord of the Flies sort of thing for Fringe. Between the concept and the name, it makes me go all explodey inside.

The Zoo troupe is auditioning again? Yay! I haven't seen the call, though, and I'm wondering if it's because it's nonunion? If not I need to go look it up. What a fun job. (I wasn't equity last time I applied, and now I can't remember)

Maybe I can get the info right on teh 3rd try.

It was in backstage, and the call said union or non -- so it's either showcase code or no jurisdiction, which works out for me, as the whole SAG thing means I can't actually do non-union theatre.
