At the moment I'm getting paid to write reviews on Judy's Book -- http://www.judysbook.com/members/33817/
So come check it out.

Meanwhile, I tried my Bombshell Bath shampoo and conditioner. Thumbs down on the texture (not thick enough), but it feels really natural and non toxic, and the scents are fabulous (although the shampoo in Bewitched is just slightly too feminine for me, I think, I'm not sure, I need outside opinions). The real test will be to see what my hair is doing in two or three days. I will not wind up making my own haircare products. I will not wind up making my own haircare products. I will NOT wind up making my own haircare products.

My pattern for the Regency men's shirt arrived, so I have to go buy linen tomorrow. In between working of course -- I'm working tomorrow and Sunday.

Fanfic peeve of the week: Folks who write a quite passable story with a decent premise and good characterization and then decide that the most unlikely people EVER are saving it for marriage. I don't know what they're teaching kids in school these days, but most people aren't. And in any of the fandoms I read, it's nearly unjustifiable in the male characters. Your personal choices are fine, but your creative choices ARE SMOKING CRACK, and not the good kind. Thank you.

So far, I have to say I'm in awe of how great my hair feels today, but since change of shampoo will usually do this I want to give it a few days. The shampoo seriously has the consistancy of soapy water, which I disliked, but I think it might be good for me and other curly-haired girls whose hair is easily weighted down by commercial products. I'll keep you posted.
