I'm glad I only stumble upon these things in tax season when there are not extra funds (and if there were, they'd be going to my Regency tailcoat). That, however, doesn't stop me from posting the link: http://www.kambriel.com/men-snape.html

It's honestly not that expensive as far as such things go. Next season perhaps. it's not like I could wear it with summer coming anyway.

This is true. And the price is pretty reasonable. I think you should wear it, if only to freak out small children. Because you know that is what I would be doing!

Ooh, that would look *smashing* on you.

And I would totally get it in cotton because I don't like the shiny shiny. I should see how much it would be to have it made for me (I don't fit in the deisgner's standard measurements at all) and then _ponder_. Certainly, there's a bit of actorly windfall potential late in May, that if I book it would make this an easy purchase.

But I'd look horrible in it. You, however, would look fab.

Wow, that would look awesome on you. And on me for that matter, I've bookmarked that site for something when I can again afford some of the amazingly lovely jackets they are selling.

You would be amazing in this. I yearn for it on your behalf.

I'm very close to mailing her to get a price quote for my measurements so I can see when/where/if it can go in the budget.

I don't know if this would fit you considering the weight you've probably lost with the intestinal ick [smallest size is a six] but I thought of you when someone pointed it out to me.

Their stuff just doesn't fit me. I have a jacket I bought from them that I have to sew major darts into to make it work. Which is a pity, because sometimes they have cool stuff.

Yeah, I get that - tons of alterations just aren't worth the trouble.

Oh, you *must* have it, yes. It's an immoral imperative.

I wish I could still wear things like that! But they look like crap sitting down in a wheelchair, or there's just no point to flowy backed coats in one. Wear it for me, and please do send pictures. Sigh.
