I don't think I slept for more than 4 hours at a time all weekend, because at some point the phone would ring every time. Jesus.

I got a new hanging candle _thing_ for my room, because I was walking past Bombay Co. and saw it and it had to be had. I am very funny. I still have to fix the curtains. Tonight, tonight. I also ordered a slip dress from Trashy Diva, because it was on sale for $20.

I also finished all my JB reviews, somehow. Right under the wire too.

Today I'll start writing AC stuff again, as I've only three things in the queue.

I have a script about dominatrixes I have to read tonight. It's written by a man who uses the words "edgy" and "feminist" and says his only research was "smutty magazines," but I'm not sure if I should have a dim view of it yet, because really, is there any normal way to say you've taken this subject for a play if you're a man?

Tomorrow is the massage. THANK GOD. Which means among other things I need to remember to xerox the "Pimpco" article for Daniel tonight (long story short, there's a company called Pimco that sells bonds, it got inadvertantly printed up as PIMPCO in the conference brochure. This is funny for various professional reasons within this circle).

Hummus, which I thought was a good idea, might not have been such a good idea. Which seems odd to me, as it's less fatty than peanutbutter which is fine. My stomach confuses me. Of course, the fat-free brownie I got in a bodega might have lied as well. First time I had to take Pepto in a month -- and I really only took it because I don't have time to be sick right now -- things weren't that bad. I keep going through phases of doing scary Internet health research, but I feel good and everyone I know keeps telling me I look great, so I figured I can't be dying. I'm also starting to wonder about Celiac again, as cutting down on fat meant cutting down on wheat for lots of reasons. What a pain this all is. I'm eating cornflakes for breakfast every day with fat-free milk, and it's sort of fun -- I never eat cereal.

And I still _need_ a ticket to that Karl Lagerfeld thing. He's one of my -- well not heroes -- but one of thsoe people that makes me feel more ambitious and reminds me that there's logic to most of my lunacies, and I'd really, really like to hear him speak.

And now to work.

Wait also -- Big Love! And that shit with Nicki being all "Am I warm?" -- hi, so don't want to be identifying with Nicki, but that whole thing about her hugging people!!!

I finished my last JB review at 11:57pm. Score! Also, oddly, today I was looking for a decent massage in NYC and your Oasis review was near the top. Hmmm.

Hummus = chickpeas = probably very high in fiber. How are you with fiber these days? On a tender GI tract it can result in a fast ride.

Did you ever see [livejournal.com profile] motel666? She closed down the journal however, she wrote this book (currently in Pre-sale)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1580051693/102-1194170-8757753

She is a wonderful writer and professional dominatrix. Let me know if you want to know more. Pretty interesting perspective and she is a hoot. She does have a new journal but not sure how public she wants it to be.

I happen to have celiac disease. If you're not gluten-free currently then getting the blood test for celiac shouldn't be a big deal as you're consuming products with gluten in them all the time (that brownie, for example). Otherwise you'd have to start eating gluten again to see if your immune system would start churning out antibodies.
