(no subject)

While I know this couldn't possibly be true, I feel like the massage cured my stomach. I suppose this is merely a tangental thing from the sense of my immune system working again because I've been unknotted.

Anyway, spectacular evening. I gave Kali a book from 1661. Details of which may be forthcoming in her journal, but will ultimately, definitely be in Descensus, because really, what do you get the wizard who has everything?

Also, I rediscovered Pump, which means food I can eat! Also, am looking into celiac blood test this week -- considering the chief symptoms seem to be problems with fat digestion, irritability and being sleepy all the time, it seems as logical a choice as anything.

Finally, even with all my typos, I've received an offer to write freelance articles for a website thanks to my AC content.

I only recently started collecting antique books (began with some purchases in Ptown last fall) so I can totally appreciate what went into getting the book for Kali. :) Do you have any recommendations for dealers here in the city?

The Argosy in midtown.

Only open 10 - 6, but has a huge collection of everything -- it's a whole building and you can search what they have on-line, although I did better just stumbling into the item in question (which is a French translation of Tacitus on Nero).

Woo hoo! This means coats and bath products and other things to spoil yourself with, I assume.

BTW, a friend of mine was recently diagnosed with celiacs after a terrible case of food poisining. he was told that he had always had latent celiacs and it was the f.p. that triggered it losing its harmless latency. good luck.

Your friend's scenario is pretty much exactly the one I'm considering being the possibility at hand. Le sigh.

The coat is getting ordered as soon as my Judy's Book payment arrives. And there is crazy amounts of writing afoot

It could be true, for a while, you know, the body being what it is and all that. Perhaps the rest of your body is just finally picking up the slack the stomach's been dealing with. Go massage!

I'm glad to hear that the massage helped. Let me know if you want a recommendation for an acupuncturist. (I know I got distracted the last time we talked over email because of my graduation exam.)

I got sidetracked too, although by other things, obviously. But yeah, why not, it can't hurt.

You are officially the Mistress of Good News for today.

[identity profile] rm.livejournal.com 2006-05-24 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose I am. Neat.

[identity profile] fleur.livejournal.com 2006-05-24 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Or Master, if you prefer that.

I think I'll worry more about the good news part of it, either way, but thank you.

Ha ha! :)
