Gluten continues to look like the likely solution. I feel relief at a solution being about to be found, but anger that me and the Internet can apparently do a better job than a doctor and a lot of bills.

Need to order a new bottle of Whitechapel, mine is running down fast. Similarly, getting the BPAL I don't use out of the box and sold off.

Very, very close to ordering both the Kabriel jacket (probably within seven days) and the Regency coat (after Kali returns and we can do measurements).

Working like a mad-woman. Have some auditions for next week.

Desperately need my Bombshell Bath order to come in or my hair is going to go ballistic.

I am, I think, very happy with yesterday's HP casting announcements, although of course, won't really know until I see photos of the actors in costume and such like, and I imagine that's exactly what we won't see when it comes to the Marauder-era penseive scene until we're in the theater.

My mom has ceilacs and my son has a wheat allergy, if you need any hints on diet, products, or recipies let me know.

What BPAL stuff are you selling?

(Lo, for I must hoard, as I plan to make people customized soaps with their favorite BPAL scents for Xmas. Yay internship!)

p.s. if you need gluten-free recipes, let me know - both evil!stepdad and Martin are gluten intolerant, so I've had practice.

Lenore is the bottle I have left from the sale, assuming people come through with their paypals.

Oks. I'll see if anyone's got their heart set on that. :)

(This massive soap fest includes you, too, btw, if you're interested.)

Sure thing. Since I've gone all strange and herbal and relatively non-commercial with such things -- well, I've been enjoying the conceit. Actually, how much oil to soap? Because I'd be happy to send you oils to turn into such.

I'm glad to hear you've figured something out yourself that helps. Avoiding gluten is a tough thing to do, but worth it if it causes you so much discomfort. My worst food allergy is MSG, so I can empathize.

I'm going to ask at school today about alumni in NYC who you might want to see for acupuncture and I'll get back to you.

Thank you.

Eliminating it seems to mean I can digest fat again, although I'm taking it very slowly.

I definitely know how that goes. Congrats on finding a solution. My friend Aaron also has a gluten allergy (although with different and, considerably milder symptoms) and should you wish to do some baking, a number of the gluten-free flours make good cookies, and cornbread w/o any other added flour is actually very good.

There are apparently some resources for gluten-allergy-plagues people in the city. I'm not sure exactly what, but there's a restaurant near us (Risotteria) that advertises gluten-free and is hooked up with some organization to help out those with the problem.
