Not to be a weirdo, but does anyone else feel like the universe is being a little odd lately? I mean, I know I've been dealing with death of late, but it seems like everyone else is too. Certainly, I can't ever recall my friends list being so full of tales of visitation.

I've been surrounded by the movements of death, too. From hauling down the ancient microwave that Kevin put up for me so long ago, to the sweater for my grandfather who is dying, to Bob's fucking cheese, which i want to throw at a wall every time i see it. And suspenders. janette's father was this big biker dude that wore suspenders, and i keep running across them and laughing about it and then wanting to cry and demand a mulligan, because i never got to meet him.


It almost makes me feel like we're being systematically denied a kind of male energy that is comforting, like the gateposts to a compound. And without that, growing into something quite different.

Perhaps I'm the exception, but no, I don't think it's being particularly odd lately as related to my reality. Now, to others reality...I can see that.

Death and all things surrounding it will become more pronounced and...noticeable to most people in this coming year and beyond.

Something is coming. Things will change. At the same time...the sun will continue to rise tomorrow. For now.

How's this for weirdo? *smile*
