HP fic rec

I find Albus fics uncomfortable, and this isn't really much of an exception, except it's lovely, in that way certain melancholy HP fics always are -- where you're not totally sure what's happened when and what's real within the story or not and you find that you don't really care; that there's a mood of loss the books allude to and show, but never indulge in, so people write things like this instead.
