Okay, Snapecast has this fanfic/art contest going on, and I want to enter. I submitted the HG/SS/OMC story from the other day but forgot to word count it and it's waaaaay too long (the limit is 1500 words). They were, however, quite complimentary about my style, so what I need is a bunny, and maybe I can churn out something else interesting in the next few days, since that was written in a few hours. Because of Descensus it's near impossible for me to write Lucius or Narcissa related stuff involving Snape that doesn't fit into that arc, but any and all bunny ideas are welcome. I'm hoping something random will send me off in some odd direction.

My only ever HP fic-idea, which I never write because I'm not nearly familiar enough with the whole canon, is that Snape is Draco's father.
I am absolutely [i]convinced[/i] of this. It explains why he agreed to the unbreakable vow. It explains why Rowling said that Snape has been loved, and why she very specifically said 'Snape doesn't have a daughter' when asked if he's Luna's father. Why he's always favoured Draco and was so keen to protect him. Draco's described as having a narrow hawkish face, much like Snape. We know Snape was at Hogwarts at the same time as Narcissa. I haven't read your Decensus stuff for a while, so don't know if you've covered any of it, but I'd love if you could make something of the idea...
