My audition today was so much fun. Two fairly long improv scenes on camera. It felt great, and I'm really proud of myself regardless of what happens. Hopefully it will look good when the director watches it later, but he was clearly enthused and entertained.

Meanwhile, tickets for the New York Film Festival go on sale tomorrow and I will be online by 8am to get them (I've a photoshoot prior and a casting call after -- I should be a mess).

I'm definitely buying for Young Adam and Elephant. Am torn about Dogville (I've yet to enjoy anything von Trier does, but I get that he's smart and important and the film has gotten good buzz, and like Indian food, I just keep trying to bludgeon myself with it in hopes....) and the opening night (which _is_ a film I want to see, I just don't know if I care enough to spend $30 to be the interloper at the black tie thingy).

I'm buying for Elephant and Dogville, much as von Trier give me hives; the overall schedule, as usual, doesn't really favor those of us who work evenings.

Chances are if you don't have tickets by now, it's too late. I prety much got the last Dogville and Young Adam tickets. You _might_ have a hope for Elephant.
