good things

Because this seems necessary right now.

- friends who will deal with me even at my worst.
- an ex-boss who thinks he can send someone over to fix this thing within the next 48 hours.
- the discovery that I sent Amanda a partial draft of the Love & Alchemy story, which means, I have most of what I had done in email and can keep working on it.
- my own precision of language, which at least makes grief seem elegant when I'm not being a screaming harpy about it.
- very possible roommate resolution for Phoenix Rising.
- hey, I'm going to Phoenix Rising.
- My Kambriel coat. It hangs on the outside of my closet door and makes me smile everytime I come in my room.
- Knowing what I want. Exactly.
- The fact that my crappy expectations of people seem to be less accurate than they have been in the past.

Unfortunately, all makes and models of gluten-free pizza: still disgusting. Last night's was a crust made of egg-whites.

Do you have a website link for Phoenix Rising by chance???

(My apology if you've heard this a billion times or whatever:)

I have been storing all my work-in-progress in a gmail account.

I haven't heard that, and, my god, what an excellent idea. Thank you.

I had a headcrash last winter and thought I lost a poem I wrote for a commitment ceremony. Thankfully, a friend of mine had a copy that I'd sent for proofing.

I've been doing this and/or using Writely for my collaborative work, but have been lax about my personal and solo stuff.

Best gluten free pizza I've had was homemade by me:

Millet flat bread, cheese of your choice, homemade sauce, gluten free toppings.

My former housemates found a fairly good gluten-free frozen crust and made their own pizzas. Of course that doesn't solve the "I want to just come home and shove something in the microwave problem."

Can I ask what you want, exactly?

Only if you let me repsond in obnoxious fannish shorthand ;) I'm in awink wink nudge nudge sort of mood today.

Apparently, frizzy haired genius who will put with how rough I am on myself and won't mind me spoiling her.

;) ;) *nudge* *nudge*

i'm glad for you.

Well, this is all very hypothetical, but I suppose I'm still a step or two ahead of the average idiot.

Oooh, that reminds me: I have recently found a gluten-free pizza that I think is pretty decent, made by a company called Foods By George. My only issue with it is that it comes in only one size, and that is small. My local Whole Foods carries it, as does the natural market in the next town over.
