No, but the floors are horribly slippery where the ball is -- it's for our dance shoes.

I guess that also means you need it powdered, like a rosin bag in baseball. When I think of rosin I still think of it as being in chunks that we needed to draw the bow across to gain friction on the strings.

Yeah, they sell it like that in the bags in dance shops, mainly for point shoes.
