quick, before I leave for set

Can anyone tell me if I have to read Fall of the Kings before Privilege of the Sword? I swore I was going to finish First Man of Rome first, but it's over 1000 pages, and maybe the obsession will chill if I just read the bloody thing.

I think it's fine to read in chronological order (that is, Privilege of the Sword first.) Anyway, Alec & Richard aren't characters (except in cameo) in the Fall of the Kings...it occurs in time after "The Death of the Duke" (short story at the end of the most recent edition of swordspoint - don't remember which one you have.)

Yup, I've got that. Okay, cool. Because this is just leering at me from my desk. And I know it's exactly the sort of thing I could blow through in holding, as opposed to First Man of Rome which can't take the constant interruptions.

Dude, don't you have the timing? I send you more of that Halloween busines btw.
