(no subject)

I am still struggling with this sinus/tension headache thing. I don't know what my body is doing and clearly, neither does it. It's inconvenient certainly.

Yesterday I learned There were pugs on Arakis. I love the Internet, oh yes I do.

So remember when we were all cooing over eShakti? Did ayone else actually order from them? How did that go? they finally got my fabric in in the right color and say the garment will be done in 2 - 3 days and then shipped. All of this having taken months as opposed to 15 days. they've been communicative and polite and it does seem like a flukey thing, but woah! I am totally within my rights to see if I can get a discount on a future order from them, yeah?

Descensus RSN. Really. And it's goooood. And it's Snape and Lily snooping around yucky pureblood traditions. Am I building your excitement?

Also are you my [livejournal.com profile] yuletide Santa? I promise to write you something useful about my wishlist soon.

My legs really hurt from dance yesterday, but since 80% of fencing is spent with my legs bent, I won't actually feel the strain in my calves in class. I sort of can't get over getting to live this life, this week in particular. It would be nearly impossible to exist on relatively the same plane of sanity as, you know, most of the rest of the planet and live more in my little historic fantasy world than I am this week -- dance, fencing, herbalism, ha!

Your sinus headache might actually be a migraine (NY Times told me so!). Many of my migraines can be caused my muscle stress, and with your new fencing regimen it's fairly likely. Migraines can actually cause you to feel stuffed up and aggravate tension in your neck (it's a nasty cyclical thing).

I would try baths in epsom salts, and ice-packs, whichever works best for muscle tension. And definitely adding stretching to your fencing regimen, or yoga, which always helped my migraines.

It could also be a sinus headache. :) Ahh, neurology, how we love thee!

Man, the body freaks me out. You know I also get severely nauseated whenever I have muscle cramps in my legs right? Gross! I think it may also be the vagueries of the radiator in my bedroom cooking my face.

What is with the weeklong headaches?
I've had one too. I'm prone to such, but even so it's a bit excessive.
