I was also impressed by the number of commenters who leaped to defend you and call him out for trollish behavior. Looks like a nice community.

It's fairly well-behaved. It's not particularly compelling (I don't have friends there like I do on LJ, nor would I ever expect to), but they are trying to make it more so. And while mostly you "earn points" that are redeemable for gift certificates as you post, they actually pay me to write entertainment content, which is nice. My review on Blood Diamond will be on their homepage tomorrow, which means I should get traffic bonuses too.
