Since I neglected to post this in any way remotely public - I'm celebrating my birthday by hanging out at Rose's Turn tonight, from about 9pm on. Feel free to drop by and add to the hilarity or what have you.
I've never dressed as Wilde for Halloween, although my mother told me often enough I looked like him as a child. Oi, mom! Anyway, it's very much a product of its times, and as suc is nearly unreadable for a lot of epople, but it has some gorgeous moments. What do you think?

I didn't get very far in the book yet, and I'll blame the morphine for that, too. I find Lord Henry absolutely fascinating, but Dorian's merely a beautiful blank slate. I'm interested to see where the setup goes, but, stylistically, I'm surprised by how hard it's been to read.
