In many crucial ways you are the child of your parents, highly focused visual artists. But you? With your sense of style, you certainly are a visual artist, but not solely a visual artist, in my humble opinion. What of your adventures with music? And most of all, what of the highly articulate, accomplished writer whose journal entry I'm commenting on now? That sort of art is sui generis, not falling completely into any of the other categories. A visual aspect, an aural aspect ("how does this sound read aloud, or in my head?"), plus that which makes the whole endeavor unique.
