My relationship with my wardrobe is so completely comical. I wish I had less of a sense of what I could get away with for any given occassion or concept (although some would argue I already have none at all, of course, they'd be wrong), as I really wanted to wear my linen regency shirt today, but it's just too billowy. Today is not a billowy day.

That said, it's time to do the "I need white shirts" whine again, as my preferred non-billowy white shirt has gotten absurdly tight in the arms. No one who has ever known me could possibly fathom such a thing. Yay fencing. Ow.

In other news: my SAG Awards ballot came. And that's pretty cool, really. Also seeing a screening of Perfume today. I wear Les Infortunes for the (or some other) occassion. Apparently I am being led to French/Moroccan food for dinner.

CNN's cunty pop-up ads keep crashing my browser. Also, I really need to clean up my desktop as the boys kissing are being utterly obscured by file icons run wild.

Ever since I lost that ring in the salle, wearing just the opal feels incredibly wrong on my hand. I'm thinking of ditching rings for a while. I dunno.

Meanwhile, my fingerless leather mitts with the antiqued brass snaps are just rocking my world.

Apropos of nothing: have you read A Sundial in a Grave: 1610 by Mary Gentle? I'm re-reading it and I'm convinced you would enjoy it greatly. It has genderqueer galore and some swordplay (the two main characters are both duellists.)

I have not, but it sounds really interesting and as if it should be added to my list.
