I loved the positioning of the two while Mark Antony was speaking, oh so close to his neck. And his hands always linger, have you noticed? I love the editing in places.

Also, a lot of whispering in this episode.

I'm loving the show so much right now that I am even ignoring the anachronistic dialogue.

Ohhh, I thought that too but I was very curious, so I played it back on full volume and she called her a trollop! I think it added to the farewell. :)

I will listen to it again. It is "listenable" at full volume.

Wow, I didn't realize they were going to replace Max with another actor. I don't know the new guy, but his picture makes him look a little like a younger Vorenus. Ah well, Max was good while he lasted. I still miss Ceasar himself despite the fact that he couldn't possibly be in this part of the story, and they couldn't have started the series any earlier probably. The rise of the first Trimverate probably would have been too esoteric to start this series with. Ah well.

Even my husband, who tries his best to stick his fingers in his ears and go "LALALA!" about the whole slash thing had to say "Wow, I just heard the ficcers galloping for their keyboards" not once, but *twice* last night.

Unfortunately, I was distracted through most of the eps and couldn't give it my full attention. I'll probably re-watch it tonight...
